Our Commitment to Safety

Lwenshi Limited takes the safety of its workers and other people on the worksite very seriously. The company has invested heavily in safety training courses for all its workers as conditions on worksites such as mines can be very risky if not approached with proper safety procedures in mind. The company provides full personal protective equipment to all its workers such as work-Suits, safety boots, hard hats, reflective vests, goggles among other safety wear. (Lwenshi also sales PPE). Workers at Lwenshi are also required to fill out hazard identification booklets every day identifying at least 2 hazards on the worksite which are then submitted to the safety manager to check. in addition to this Lwenshi holds daily toolbox meetings with its workers to discuss safety concerns, provide updates on tasks, and raise any issues that workers may have concerning work (Minutes are written down). Furthermore, daily checks on machinery and equipment are done by the machine operators and technicians to ensure all equipment is in tip-top condition before the job. Our number one priority is safety of the workers and others around us.
